She brought in several pieces of jewelry and one of her orders was a simple dainty necklace with 4 diamonds.
It was her present to her daughter in law right after her delivery a baby.
Generally the bezel of “diamond by the yard” design ( diamond in bezel on a chain)  has a hook at its both sides and the chain is connected to them. 
 We made the bezels of this necklace in a different way.
In each bezel, there are holes that the chain goes through.  It looks like the chain is going through 4 bezels, though each diamond doesn’t move.  Also by making the hole a little above the diameter of the bezel, the diamonds are more stable on the neck, and it is clear that this isn’t just like the ordinary “diamond by the yard” chain.
