Mysterious patterns filling the frames evokes in me the traveling in the 5th dimension world in the story " A Wrinkle in Time", which was my favorite book when I was a child.
"Mokume-gane" is a Japanese metalworking procedure which produces a mixed-metal laminate wirh distinctive layered ptterns. The frames are white gold with white diamonds at the top. Very unique pieces !
