The couple wanted a wedding set. She liked the idea of using Royston turquoise, and liked our design idea of the turquoise and how it is set in the ring. We got a couple of nice Royston turquoise gems at the Tucson Gem Show.
One of them was perfect for the purpose: ideal patterns and enough size to make 2 gems for the ring. (Since turquoise isn't a hard stone, we thought it is a good idea to have an extra stone just in case for the future)
The turquoise was coated by clear quartz and facetted, so that the facet is shown nicely. With antique feeling prong design and the color combination of yellow gold, white gold shank with white diamonds, and turquoise blue, the ring became unique, but elegant and very sweet.
At the back of the stone, there is an infinity. His ring also has an infinity inside.
