Our client wanted a necklace expressing she & her husband, their children and grandchildren. We came up with an idea to use 3 Japanese family crests, each represents the generation.

The couple: a crest of 2 hawk feathers, the 3 children: a crest of 3 Kashiwa (Japanese emperor oak) leaves, the 5 grandchildren: a crest of plum flower (5 petals).

All these crests have been popular in Japan since some hundreds years ago, and each of them has special meanings which fit to her and her family and which expresses a good story as the whole necklace.
