A customer brought in an inherited ring with a rectangle purple amethyst. She felt the setting was too high and not comfortable. We came up with a very interesting and pretty design which was more than her budget for this gem. Before she saw the design, her husband learned about the project. When he saw the design he loved it.
It became a "secret for a surprise mothers day gift" from him and their children!
